i have a 007 DV, its a little beat up, think i may have put to much grease in it, or its just all worn, i tried changing the springs but it made everything worse, seems to misfire now when im a WOT everything is fine till it gets to about 19-21 psi then it feels like a back-fire.. should I just put the other spring back in or should I buy a new DV, and which one should I go with? keep in mind its a big turbo so i dont know what would be best.. thanks

If a spring change made it worse then atleast you know it's partly the DV. Maybe borrow someone elses DV, any friends close by?

plenty of friends, no one with a audi.. yea it was fine for like 30 minutes then it started acting up it would hold 21psi and now the boost jumps all over the place and the car makes a poping noise like a misfire. so I just asume its the DV because i didnt change anything else, i was only holding 18 before and it was fine.

what DV should I buy? i had an evo dv in my last car but it was not tunable, dont really know if its worth it, alot of people run the baileys

I found these articles on the net: http://www.s4biturbo.com/art-dvtests.php & http://www.s4biturbo.com/art-dvtests2.php The Bosch ones might be more reliable.

bosch are used on TT's now, if he has a big turbo hell need something a little stronger, plus i don't think they are tunable.

Make sure you have the right color spring, I have a spring set for a forge 007. PM if you want one.
