Well with all those cars in your sig. id assume that you know a thing or two? I read that if you put a light coat of silver on the amber bulb it will appear silver when off and amber when on.

Yup, that is correct. I did it, works like a charm, the bulbs blink orange when lit up. That means your turn signal is nice and legal...it also means the bulbs will be glowing orange when your headlights are on.

And if you're buying spray paint MAKE SURE IT IS HIGH-TEMP ENAMEL...Duplicolor silver. Normal spray paint will heat up and look like ***. When applying, just make very light passes, ...and give it enough time to dry between passes, you don't want it to run.

Thanks man, the place Panda posted was out of stock, and these look like they will be cheaper... Do you know which "kit" i need for the one peice's? It gives a drop down list of kits, i dunno which one? You?

I have them in my car. They do just what they say, during the day they are silver as anything but they light up amber. They work great IMO.

for the Pure Motorsports Stealth Bulbs, a 99 a4 1.8t would be the same kit, the 3357/3457 correct??

sweet mod and its about time. It doesnt take long at all mybe 2 hourstops if you take your time but its really easy. and a word for the wise if you tip the headlights upside down you can see where the drill is going and it makes it alot easier.
