i don't undertsnad the computer in any car or the sencer im afriad to disconnect it but i wanna make an intake for my car any advise ?

Our airboxes are fairly un restrictive...i suggest just taking off the top of the airbox, and infront of the maf element...there is a tube thing held in by some screws...yank that bastard out and notice a slight differnece in air flow.

you can disconnest the stuff on the top of ur air box, it wont hurt. looks to me like you have the v6 not the 1.8t????
check this intake out http://www.evoms.com/a%20main%20frames.htm . besides this one its pretty much ebay. but as slowb5 says the airbox is already pretty good

Did you read the DIY section of the forums? There's a nice little write up there by Audiboy (I think) on how to do this.

What makes you say 2.8?? I think he does too if I remember from an old post, but those are 1.8 wheels.

Those are sport wheels, not engine specific.

welll it looks to me like he has chrome around his windoew. and correct me if im wrong, i think that was only offered on the 2.8l engine

^ ^ chrome was only on 2.8's. That is correct!

well everyone who sed 2.8 wuz correct it is the v6 engine so i checked the other forum didn't no if it wuz the same but i jus like doing those little mods i have a drop in k&n but it wuz too e z you know ? i mean sh*t the jap cars have screws but noo audis r so e z u jus un hook the clips ... haha any other mods that r fun for DIY er's like me ?
