holy **** i cant believe what yall are paying. i paid $5200 for my 2000 1.8t quatto a couple of months ago, all it needed were brakes and a timing belt job which i did myself.

 

whats wrong with the hood ?

 

its hard to see in the picture but there are like 3 sap marks bib blobs where it ate away at the paint, also there are plenty of scratches and chip marks from stones, it kinda bothers me

 

for a little more you could have picked up a B5 S4. but congrats man!

 

You know every time I see a post like this one the same a-hole types come back with... "I can't believe how much you paid" "for a little more you could have gotten..." crap. The price someone pays for something has quite a bit to do with where they live. Quit being such idiots and let the poor guy enjoy the damn car. He just got it.

Nice ride enjoy it and don't bother with reading this thread. If you paid $1 for the car people would say you shouldn't have done it. I guess being 40 make me this way and hearing all these little boys pound their chests about how great of a deal they got compared to the next guy gets old. When you get my age you don't have to yell at everyone to be heard. People listen because you have experience.

lol yeah it was, and its true... I'm known for telling people to get an S4. which isn't feasible for most. and actually I was just looking and the B5's are going for more than I thought... so I'm wrong. [:@]

actually I secretly want people to get S4's so i can live vicariously through them...
