Default Do you use touchless Car Wash in the winter?

Hey folks.. Just wondering what everyone here does in the winter. In Canada, it's obviously tooo cold to be holdinga garden hose to my car and try to wash it when it's -5 Celcius outside and with the polar bears and flying hockey pucks all around it would be too dangerous

Seriously though.... I usually go through the touchless car wash and that seems to do the trick.. In the summer it's allot of TLC with hand wash, dry, wax and polish.. But what do you guys think??? Is touchless a good idea in the winter and ifnot what do YOU do to keep your car clean in the winter.

So this makes me wonder now..... A car that is always washed in the winter using touchless, detail shop etc.... Will have no real protection against dirt and salt soooooooo, is it better to leave your car dirty all winter long until the first warm day??? My thinking is that the layer of dirt and salt will protect the car from the rest of the dirt and salt... What do you guys think?

You would think that it would make sense doing that. I use the touchless car wash with my 90 Audi 90 last year, and I was pretty happy with how much crap it got off the bottom of the car (with those under body jets) still havn't done winter with my A4. I may just store my car for the winter. Thats a great way of avoiding salt!
