Hey every one I have a 1999 Audi A4 and my power door locks ceased to work. They ave not been working for the last 6 months or so. Can this be a problem with a fuse or is the problem bigger. It was working one day and then all of a sudden the remote control wouldnt open them and neither would the switches in the car. Its like it went completely dead. I have had to open every door manually ever since. Any help will be very helpful thanks.

 

its a fuse or the centeral air pump is toast

 

If you hit the lock button and you can hear a motor running in the right rear corner of the trunk then the pump is messed up, if no motor noise then check your fuses.

 

The one thing to remember with mechanics is start small and then go big... Do what these guys are saying except start with the fuse and then if that's fine check out the pump...
