Does base model A4 have a sun-roof?
Im buying an 97 Audi A4 quattro 2.8l, and its being worked on right now replacing water pump thermostat kit, and new pads and rotors, befor i pay for it. I just can remeber if it hada sun roof im sure it did though. But What a car for $6000 itsa 5-speed standerd with about 97k on it its that purplish- dark blue color.
It's basically win-win. If you have it, great, you get a sunroof. If you don't, you have a car with a stiffer chassis, lighter weight, and a lower center of gravity.

a4's arent optioned like that, its engine based, 2.8's have real leather and wood trim etc etc etc
1.8's have leatherette etc etc
most people that buy an audi arent special ordering it, they buy whats on the lot, so alot of cars were "optioned up" by the dealer for a higher price
cloth interior is very rare to see, so is a non sun roof car
but you arent going to find an a4 with roll down windows and manual locks and all of that happy ****.

and i have seen one of those rare a4's... guy in my town has a silver one...... onepoint, his dad sells cars, he got his a4 from his dad, next time i see him, i can get his dad's dealership # call his dad and have him check out your autotrader ad
Well, for '97, the 2.8 is the upscale model as opposed to the 1.8T. The 1.8T is always the base model for A4s. I would assume that you have a sunroof, being that it is a 2.8. I would say that if there is no sunroof, then the origional owner special ordered it without one......
