does lowering my b5 have to equal rougher ride ?
what springs do you guys recemmend? and if i went the route of springs....must i change my shocks? i have the sport package on the 98 A4...does that include a sport suspension as well?
H&R, tein, and eibach are typically pretty good options... I usually lean towards eibach for ride comfort, or H&R for their spring rates. you CAN run these springs on your stock shocks... but it's not recommended. your ride will be greatly improved with a set of konis or bilstein... not to mention, those shocks will eventually go... and you're back to ripping apart your suspension to do what you shoulda done in the first place. the sport package does include suspension, but that really doesn't change too much, i'd be ripping it out anyway, sport or not. Id also suggest rear swaybars while you're at it, to try and counter some of the understeer the A4s have if you're ever going to track the car.
yah Vitals is right... and unfortunaly for me... I have eibach springs with non sport shocks so my future suspension is look F-up b/c my shocks will prob go in like 5 thouhsand miles (b/c my car has only 4000 miles on it)
