Hey guys,
Just wondering if my (99 2.8 Q Tiptronic) came with brake sensors? Do all B5's come with them or only certain ones? If so which ones? And I cant remove the wheel to check, sorry dont have proper tools. Just wondering if there was another way to find out.

I pretty sure that it was 99.5 and up that had them

 

the brake light should make an annoyin sound and light up if your pads are low

 

Is that for all 99.5 and up? Or is it an option?

Brake sensors were standard in 1999.5 models.

 

I believe the brake sensor and speed sensor are the same in the back.

 

Speed sensor? Thats located in the tranny.

 

Thanks jest and everyone. SO my 99 2.8 Q (tiptronic) doesnt have a brake sensor.

I got someone offering me a deal on the brake KIT ( I am serious guys need everyones input on this cause it is some $$$$ for me to spend right now)

What do you guys think of this deal? Remember its $600 CANADIAN. let me know guys.

 

well if you are still not sure take a wheel off and see if you see a wire comeing from the pads
