so I'm doing a custom exhaust job today, guna get rid of the big heavy restrictive muffler and the pipe on back, replacing it with straight pipe and a big sti like resonator. I'm doing it mostly for sound but does anyone know if/what kinda of gains i might feel?

ill keep the post updated with pics and what not, think I'm guna drive a car a little with the exhaust off for fun, so maybe a vid or two.

 

So your changing everything from the cat back and putting on a large ricer style muffler?

 

yeah, from the cats back its guna be straight piping, decided not to delet the cats though. Then out too a big can, but not actualy just a ricertip, its just a resonator.

 

Why not a magnaflow or remus?

 

+1 for magnaflow. sounds so sick on the v6's

 

no magnaflow cus i dont have money, this was free because it came on the parts car i got, so im just guna use this cus i have it.

 

do you have a set of earplugs, cause its gonna be loud.....
