Were not cruel at all, it looks like ****, thats just all there is to it.. If he likes it, thats all that matters, what we say shouldnt matter.

 

again, i know not everyone likes the chrome look, so save the "no offence" flames. but there a few people out there who do like the look. i knew that a lot of people were going to make dumb comments about how they are glad its not on their car. well guess what, its not on your car, its on mine - so you dont have to worry about it. the reason i took pics was to show the people who do like the look - one way to do it. so "no offence" to everyone who doesn't like the look, but there is no need to dump on people expressing their likes.

just as there is no need to dump on people expressing their dislikes....no one insulted you, we just said the chrome grill is ugly

 

so let me get this straight, saying that something (that the owner likes) looks ugly, isn't dumping on their likes? right... and i never "dumped on people expressing their dislikes" i only said that it isn't necessary.


this thread wasn't meant to cause animosity in the forum, it was only intended to show the people who do like the chrome look to see what i have done.

 

there's a big difference between insulting a person and disagreeing with their tastes. i'm just saying that people expressing that they don't like it is just as valid as people saying that they do like it...this is a public forum for people to share knowledge and opinions......it's not our fault that it's ugly

 

i personally wouldnt do that to my car. but it looks clean and better than i thought it would.

 

Yeah, it really doesn't look bad. Its not my taste, as I generally like keeping the OEM look (wheels aside) in terms of visuals.
