Default Don't have a owners manual and I have a quick question

While I was driving to school this morning I hit the "Check" button in my speedometer and the screen repeatedly flashed 1 with MPH surrounded by a circle. I could've taken a picture but I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. But anyways this came up every 15 seconds and beeped. As soon as I hit the freeway it stayed on for about 15 minutes into the drive and then disappeared. What is it that I should worry about? [:@]

Thanks for the help!

speed warning... when youre driving at a certain speed and hit the check button, you set the speed warning, so every time you hit that speed, it will beep. if you wanna get rid of it, drive REALLY fast and hit the check button to set the speed warning higher, or hold the check button for 3 seconds at any speed to get rid of it

i would leave my warning either at the most common speed limit, or if you like going fast, at the rated speed limit for your tyres.
