dont know if this is normal, or I have a boost leak???
ok i have a 99 1.8t with the non pc 16 giac ko4 file, just put in the n75 H looped in with a MBC, when i first got just the N75 H in i would hold 16psi till red line and would spike at like 23 but i had really bad surging so i looped in the MBC when i did that it would go to about 19 then drop to 15-16 till red line and in 5th gear i would get some boost creep, I have been changing the MBC to different settings and it always seams to fall back but now ill build about 19-21psi then it drops to around 14 till red line in first gear it seams to drop more I just wanted to know if this was normal or if i should start looking for a boost leak.. will be putting in a fmic soon with injectors so i can get the pc 16 file.. but i want to get this all sorted out first.. any help would be great..

i do have the right software, its the non pc16 ko4 file that giac makes, it just blows in my opinion

Id take it out and inspect it just to make sure its working right, or make a boost leak tester. I think there is a DIY for one on Audiworld or if you search there was a thread on how someone built one a while back. Also, take out your MBC and just use the n75 and see what happens just for troubleshooting.
blah.. this stuff sucks why cant the car just run right all the time.. i would say its a temperature thing because i know when its hot out that i get lower boost but i ran the car last night and it was 70 out and really cool, ran into the same problem.. ill look at the dIY boost leak and run a buch of test with and with out the MBC but its all in such a tight spot and i have rather large hands its always a pain to take crap like that off.
