My car won't go more then 4000 RPM it slows down after that it feels like the turbo doest kick in, it does it in every gear and if i put all my foot to the pedal, what can I do???????

 

boost leak? get it vag'd. MAF?

 

Does the car sputter or anything? Any check engine lights? What year and how many miles on your car?

 

Yeah the car does sputter, no check engine ligth and its a 1999 with 64k !!

 

bad plugs, bad coil packs, MAF

 

how about the hoses. check them for leaks, or cracks

Got the Revo flash today and about half an hour later I started having the same problems. Loss in power, doesn't feel like the turbo kicks in and it sputters at low RPMs. Not sure if autozone can get the codes for me but I'm headed up there to find out. Just in case it helps, my car isa 2002 A4 1.8TQM.

 

Just got back from Autozone and the codes were P0304 and P1296. They said that cylinder no. 4 was misfiring(P0304) and the other code is manufacturing fuel air metering. They said it was most likely a problem with the spark plugs. Not sure if this is true but I might give it a try. Any ideas?

 

Your sparkplugs could cause the misfire or a bad coilpack or icm ora dirty fuel injector. Try the plugs (it's always good to have new ones) ngk plugs, clear the codes if it still misfires swap coil packs (3 and 4) if the misfire switches cylinders it's thecoilpack, if it stays the same it is most likely the icm but could also be an injector issue. And clean the maf sensor with some maf cleaner or computer keyboard cleaner.
