Door Lock motor replacement
Has anyone replaced the door lock motor (actuator) ? I have a 1998 A4 Quattro and the doors/truck will not unlock electrically (they do lock though). Dealer says I need a new "door lock motor" and can fix the problem for $700.00 !! Thanks for your help.
Sure!
http://www.car-part.com. Find a used one for cheaper. If you want I can get you a part number if you want to buy it new from an online dealer. Let me know.

I fould the part, new, for $175 on their web site. Do you know where the pump is located?
Sure is a lot cheaper to put in myself instead of paying dealer $700!!!!
