Default Door Locks

The door locks on my 96 A4 dont work and the interior lights dont come on when you open the door. do you think this is caused by a bad control moduel? thanks

You need to Vag the car for fault codes. Could be a bad locking vacuum pump.

that doesn't explain the interior lights not coming on though...i'm thinking it's the control module underneath the rear seat...
