Default Double-Din Bezel for A4 B6?

I have a 2004 Audi A4 with the Symphony head unit (single din). Under that is the adjustment for temp and then under that is the 2 buttons for defrost, etc. Under that I have an empty area where you can throw junk.

SO......

I am thinking of getting the Pioneer AVIC Z1 for my audi.
It is a double-din and I was wondering if I will need a bezel or if it will just fit perfectly?
Also how about moving those other items down? Will I need something for that?

THANK YOU!!!

Good choice. I have that same unit in my ride. Also, you don't have a single DIN sized radio in your ride, the Symphony is a double DIN. What you need to make that Pioneer unit work is the following:

Metra 99-9102: double DIN installation kit

Metra 70-1787: Wire harness to intergrate an aftermarket radio with the stock BOSE amplifiers

Good answer. Just hop to a nearby Circuit City and you'll be able to find those parts. I have the AVN7000 in mine from Eclipse, but I'm planning on switching over to the Z1, because it's just that badass.

ERRR MY BAD.
I wrote that without looking. Mine is single-din and it isnt Symphony, its Concert.

Are those still the only parts I need?

I dunno about that. Look at the pics I posted at the top from Pioneer that are actually IN an audi. It looks beautiful.

OK, now this is a slighty different animal but not too difficult. So, what you need to do is remove that lower pocket and shift the climate controls down. Now, I'm not sure on this but you might need the brackets for the climate control that the symphony equipped A4's have in order to mount it properly. Other than that, still the only parts need afterwards would be the Metra parts.

true that does look good but did that pioneer replace a single din or double? he has concert which is single DIN and if the climate control module doesn't fit right in the lower section right it may look weird.

The Metra part looked like a nice double DIN bezel but the problem was that it was split in the middle. One DIN for the h/u and the other for a pocket. Are you saying you cut the bar out in the middle and make it look perfect on the edge?

BTW, check out this link.

Is my Audi Concert headunit (see the pics I put on here) a stock "BOSE" setup? So would the 70-1787 be the right part?
