So its my b-day, and my dad finally is letting me drag my car. with my boost leak im hoping ill hit at least 15.5. but im not sure looking at other peoples times. well, lets just hope i dont crash ;-)

 

I wouldnt go drag until you fix the boost leak.. Fun, but sort of a waste when it comes to your times being off even a little due to the leak. Have fun though! Happy Birthday!~

 

why you need drag car is it broken HBD and get the leak fixed before you loose face

 

Lol, today is a "test and tune" day. ther ewill be maby 10 cars there and i dont get DQ'd from times. and itll be a good benchmark for when i get it fixxed. and since its my b-day, my dad is paying the entry fee. so y not? lol

ya, defanitly. im also stoked just to hear a clip of how it sounds from the outside with the exaust, new DV, and intake mod. i was gonna unbolt my catback but my dad threw a b!tch fit about it becuase he delt with a lot of exaust leaks in his day and didnt want me to do it. and its illigal. lol

 

bah its not illegal at the track.... and with all my mods and GIAC I ran in the 14s so you should do better than 15

 

you ran 14s? wow. im looking at the audi timeslips, andpeople with similar mods are running like 15.5 best. id be absolutly stoked if i made it into even the high 14's.

it seams we have basically the same performance mods but i dont have a testpipe, but i dont think that would account for half a second on the strip. but my boost leak is pissing me opff. i cant seam to find it! i found the last one no problem. well, ima do a pressure test 2morrow. if i do a pressure test, and there are no leaks, but im still running 15psi, does anyone know why that could be? my dad thinks its the computer not letting it boost at high for engine management. i dont think so...

 

lol well 14.8 14.9 so i guess its closer to 15

 

and Im not even that good at launching ....... a friend of my who races professionaly drove my car once and got better than me but i cont remember what his time was i guess ill have to dig around for the slips
