Ahh im so stoked. ima be launching at 3k and experimenting with shift points. it alsmost seams faster if in third gear, i shift to 4tha t like 4.5k 5.5k rpm. i know the HP peaks at abotu 5.5k, but it seams to pull harder at like 4-4.5k rpm. maby becuase at that point, the boost leak isnt making me run ritch. that could be it...

 

yea launch at 3200 IMO and slip just a bit and then drop it.... Shifting is all feel IMO theres no set point for me but with my car 3rd was god

 

Did you check the "L" hose??? If not it is on the side of the intake manifold, towrd the back of the intake manifold...I had a huge hole i was only boosting 15psi then I fixed it and was boosting 21psi... it made a huge difference

 

Ya, that was my first boost leak. i was boosting 18 psi with that. i fixxed that, boosted 21. now it dropped to 15 psi. i got a new baileys DV, and is still boosting at 15psi. so im pissed.

i found out yesterday that with the chip, 3rd-5th redline is now set to 7k rpm. so i got above too nearly 90 in 3rd. it was awesome lol.

 

lol yea they raise the limiter but is still not reccomended to run it that high

Sacramento Raceway. i live in rancho murieta, like 10 minutes form the track. please dont kill me lol. ya, i dont like to be that high anyway. very little power. and do they not reccoment it becuase my engine may take a **** when im up there?
