Drilled or Slotted?
I am getting brembo rotors for my car and i am wondering what you guys think, they are the same price, should i get the cross-drilled or slotted rotors? I am going for reliable but strong breaks.

RE: Drilled or Slotted?
How about both??

RE: Drilled or Slotted?
supposedly cross drilled keep em cool while slotted keeps the pad fresh and keeps gas from building up and eliminates fade, also slotted reduces life, i researched a lot and found that slotted doesnt hurt pad life too pad so im going for both check out ecstuning.com they got some cool rotors

RE: Drilled or Slotted?
ill say slotted

RE: Drilled or Slotted?
CD rotors can't be turned if you warp them. Slotted rotors can be turned.

go slotted. drilled ones can crack in high heat if you ever go to the track.
|
RE: Drilled or Slotted?
yea, slotted, drilled will crack toward the end of its life, and under high heat
|
RE: Drilled or Slotted?
Yep, I did the same research and decided slotted was the best idea between the two.

RE: Drilled or Slotted?
thanks dudes, think ill go slotted, i would have gotten a bbk if i had money but im going for this and good pads, would you recomend mintex? i have heard they are good and am planning on those, what do you think?

RE: Drilled or Slotted?
Yeah, Mintex have a good reputation, I'm sure they'd be fine. The EBC Greenstuff pads are popular too, some people buy pads from Hawk also. You'd be good with either of the three.
