Default Driver Information System

You know that screen in the middle of the dash, that displays all the cool info... well mine is all garbled and i can barely read whats going on...
Is that easy to change? or do i have like bad wiring or something?

get used to it. almost all of them do that. faded and burnt out pixel lines. just turn it off and turn it on when you need to see something. audi charges like 4 bills for a new one. you could get one from a junk yard but it may be in the same or worse condition. and replacing it borders on being illegal due to mileage and stuff... so I have tried to just deal with mine. some ppl sell theirs on the classifieds section.

It is in fact a common problem. A junkyard cluster doesnt really border on illegal unless you attempt to portray a false mileage during resale. If you disclose the cluster is not original, the only possible loss is in the retail value of the vehicle. However pictures of the swap along with cluster milages should help with resale value due to the disclosure of possible irregularity.s

You can't change the miles on the cluster.
