FTL, because then every time it gets below 60 outside, people b*tch because it's SOOOO COOLD!! And no one knows how to drive in the rain, on the four or five days per year that happens.

I'm not keen on the cold/snow here (especially now that the quattro fun has worn off), but I like that it gives some perspective.

 

I wouldn't mind living where there was no snow and always sun..but then again when winter rolls around my quattro wouldnt be the coolest car on the block

 

ocadam a front trac would not be the same in the snow. If you've ever seen a rally car that's less than 20 years old, you've seen the impact that the Audi quattro has had on a motorsport. Notice how they pitch the cars before they even get to the corner and slide all the way around the corner, that comes from more torque than traction. The only time we can do that is in the snow, and it is a blast. Throwing an A4 quattro around in the snow is one of my favorite winter pleasures, because so few other vehicles can come anywhere near what it's capable of doing, acceleration, lateral load, ability to yaw under control.But you do need good snow tires or the control part is lost somewhere.

Yup, CTown you got the right idea. It's not better than sex, but it is better than sex in the snow.

 

hmm. how about having sex while drifting in the snow in a quattro? now that's an experiment worth trying in a controlled environment lol
