Drop suggestions???
So I guess H&R is the more popular. But what about the Neuspeed? What's wrong with them?
I'm only asking because I'm also in the market for a suspension setup as the previous owner jacks up the suspension by cutting the springs to lower them. Also, not to mention that he also only cut the fronts. So my headlights aim low.
Could I go for lowering springs and then get struts later on? Money is an issue.

not to thread jack, but what setup will make it lower but still ride like stock and handle fairly well

If you have the same stiffness springs but the car is lowered, the wheel will move just as far as on a stock car, but will have less clearance. Therefore, there is no way for a lowered car to ride like stock.
With respect to handling, lowering the car will -always- improve the handling considerably because you are lowering the centre of gravity of the car. This is important when cornering because the centrifugal force caused by centripetal acceleration of cornering acts through the car's centre of gravity. When the CoG is lower to the ground, it is closer to the resultant friction forces that pavement exerts on the tires, and the moment that causes body roll is reduced. The moment can be calculated as force times distance, so if you reduce the distance (between the forces) the overall moment is reduced.
It seems like you are less interested in having it handle well than just having it low to the ground, for whatever reason.

Great! Thanks for your help.
BTW, I dont mean to half **** the suspension but I can't have my car drag across the floor anymore. I can at least take care of springs. So,I can save money for the real stuff!

WHOAAAAA EVERYBODY....were forgetting the most aggressive spring/shock combo...
neuspeed race springs with bilstein sport shocks.... cant be beat... my buddys audi thats dropped on tein ss coil's gets dominated by my setup. I have had this combo on 2 audis now and never will do anything else. the improvements over stock are rediculous and ride quality is absolutely amazing, nobody even believes my car is lowered til they get get out and cant put a finder through my fender, lol...
dont get hr or tein or anything else but neuspeed race springs... trust me take it from someone who has felt other setups on audis and knows whats up...

AteURV8, two questions, how much was your setup and do you have problems with scraping? Basically I want to drop my 12v soon and I love how your sig looks so I was thinking that low, but I don't want to be F***ing up my front bumper when trurning into my driveway or on speed bumps all of the time
