So david, what all are they doing to your car?

 

Yeah, pics, pics, pics. Did you end up getting that K16? What else did you find out about it?

 

hush hush hush on the K16 doose. no i ended up passing on it. after talking several hours long distance to several companies i figured out it could be done but with modification to the body of the car.

yes i dropped off a digita camera and told them to take pics of the entire process. first there gonna do a super tune up. replace all the bearings replace all the suspension bushings and all that. the labor is at 55 bones an hour which is really good for austin but still expensive. all in all its supposed to take like 30 hours or so. i instructed them to onky do the valvetrain installation stuff (cams,valves, rockers, springs etc.) i figure ill do the rest. anyways im stoked

Damn, congrats on the upgrades. Sounds like your car is going to be even more impressive. Good luck and post some pics when you get the cam back.

Yeah i visited today and they replaced all the hub/wheel bearing with "high performance" bearings. supposedly they are ceramic coated. anyways if was free.
