Default Dual Exhaust on a B5

Alright, so I'm still looking around, and I find myself strangely obsessed with dual exhaust... yet i can't find a dual system anywhere for a B5. Just wondering... am I looking in the wrong places? is it just unwanted on a B5? or is it impossible (i've never been under one) due to the quattro system. I know it's popular on later models... but where's the dual for the B5's?!? (btw... looking at a 2.8MQ, hopefully 30v... i'll deal with 12 if i need to...)

HAve a muffler shop build you one. they can also cut out a spot on your bumper so it looks uniform

lol., yeah, jestomen seems to be relly miffed about his 12v (i've read a lot of posts today)... but i dunno, apparently the 1.8T has slightly better handling characteristics. is this true?

(then again, i'm not going to be TOO **** about handling, seeing as my current car is an SUV... in mentioning btw, Ford Escapes are INCREDIBLE vehicles )

No you idiot. Just buy two borla mufflers and have the shop bend the pipes and weld it all together

question still withstanding... do you have an estimate on cost?... and if they're custom bending piping... can i grab ANY borla muffler? or do i need (or is it suggested) to go with the A4 muffler?

The reason there are no dual muffler solutions for the B5 is that the fuel tank is in the way. You can do a "look alike" mod if you like though.

And having a 12V isnt the end of the world, it actually has more mods than the 30V available. The 30V has no substantial mods except the supercharger.
