How do you know when you need a new DV?

 

If you own an '01 or earlier model, then it is recommended to upgrade your DV to at least a 710N DV. It's a very easy installation and you will notice a difference in throttle response right away. Otherwise, if you're accelerator seems to be getting sluggish or you notice a complete lack of "go power" then you might want to get a new DV. If you are going for high performance, Forge and Bailey's seem to be the most popular. I personally have a 710N in mine and don't see the need for anything greater unless I upgrade to a K04 turbo.
