i want to know how you guys with hybrids are doing? they're still relatively new and i'm curious as to the long-term effects they have....

Well, you could just get APR's boost gauge (or any boost gauge).

Mine blows off the excess pressure out the back so I get a SWOOSH sound...

 

My cousin has one on his 944, but I've only gone for a ride once since he installed it. It seemed like he pretty much had to build full boost before it would blow off and make any noise. Not like a regular BOV where you barely tap the throttle and it blows off. But if anyone has any experience with them on our motors, I'd like to hear more about them too.

 

I'm looking for a place to put my boost guage in my b6...can't use the a pillar because of airbags

I have a BAILEY DV with APR CHIP makes no noise, even at redline, as far as I can tell.

 

Hey Fieldy if you add an Intake you will be able to hear the noise

 

i don't have a turbo...i'm not trying to get the swoosh sound, i just want to know how hybrids effect the 1.8T long-term...anyone? buueeller? anyone?
