I got a Forge DV and im just wondering, what spring are you guys using, i just left the one it came with and im thinking about changing it out to the stronger one but i want some input, is it better with the weak one or the stronger spring?

 

I use the one it came with (green i think?). I also get a nice loud PSHHH sound when I let off the gas b/c of my airbox mod. As long as it isn't letting off boost too soon, you should be fine.

 

thats what i noticed, the stock one i could rev up to like 4500 and let go and ill get a clean Pshh sound and with the forge at 4500 i cant even hear it but down like at 2500 RPMs it will kick off with a clean sound, shouldnt it let out at a higher RPM?

 

hmm...in that case, it sounds like you might want to try the harder spring.

 

What do you guys recomend, what color spring? the hardest one or would it be best to see if the middle one works better

 

Valve Spring color coding

Green - 5-15 PSI

Yellow - 15-23 PSI

Blue - 23-30 PSI

Red - 30 + PSI

 

Are you talking about rev'ing it at idle? And how do you have the valve oriented, which side is seeing boost?
