DV VALVE, how hard to install?????
I have searched all throughout the forum and I have not found a thread where it talks about how hard it is to install a DV Valve. What I am looking for is how hard is it to install a DV Valve and how and where do u install it on the engine and how much louder would the turbo sound with the car also being chipped?? My other question is, if my car is leased will I be able to uninstall the DV Valve at the end of the lease and have nothing showing that I modified the valve?? I would appreciate any help about this, and again I did search throughout the forum. Thanks
I install Revo chip last week. Its so wonderful when I want to speedup on the highway and local.
I buy 710N DV from Ebay and will install next week. I will tell you when my DV arrived.
What model of Audi do u install? My car is Audo A4 2.0T 2005 Avant

i dont know about b7's but on b5's and b6's it is easy as hell. like unclamp replace clamp. its behind the passenger headlight towards the bottom of the engine(assuming the 2.0T is similar to the 1.8T) and ya you can just put the original one back on and they will never know. and ya the "pssshh" sound is quite a bit louder
edit: o and its DV, not DV valve. thats like saying diverter valve valve
The only 2 valves that I've heard of for the B7's are the Forge DVFSiT valve (which I have) and it's not a replacement.....it's simply a spacer that sits on top of the OEM DV that's already on the car.
The other is the replacement "C" valve from Audi.
The "B" version ships with the car from the factory, but there have been some issues with the material that the inner lining was made of, so they replaced it with a new revision.....the "C".
Aside from that, I'm not aware of any other valves for the B7.

Thanks for the help guys, with the DVFSit on the B7 how much louder did it make the turbo with your car also being chipped?? And I'm assuming since it just goes on top of the OEM Valve that it doesn't take much time to install at all. (Evoic)
