DV-- A World of Difference!

RE: DV-- A World of Difference!
Yep, that's where mine was.
You'll need 2 replacement clamps. 1 for the vaccum line (I used a 5/16" easy-clamp) and the other for one of the hoses (24-32mm clamp) I bought both of the clamps at menards for about $1 total.
optional: zip tie to secure the vacuum line.
1) jack up the car or get some ramps for like $30 at menards(mine are rated for 12000lbs)
2) remove the undertray (just need a flathead)
3) locate the DV and remove the 3 clamps. Use a needlenose pliars for the two perminent clamps...see advice above on how to get them off. Note which hose goes on what part of the DV. I hear it doesn't matter which way you put it in..but for some reason that sounds fishy to me.
4) take the old DV out and start putting the new one in starting with the vacuum line as it is the hardest line to clamp.
5) test drive carefully! wear it in a little and then open her up and smile[8D]
6) if she's all good, replace the undertray if you wish and, as the french say,"fin"!
super easy!
