So what you guys are saying is that a STOCK B7 makes 193hp at the wheels? If that is true then I would would like to know how much boost they run stock and how much after the chip? Also have you done a boost leak test?

I'll bet it has something to do with the stock DV, but your boost gauge will tell you if you are holding the proper amount of boost. First you need to know how many psi the chip gives you.

I'll tell you guys there is a big difference between stock and chipped. The power band is wider and you can feel it all the way through 4th. Obviously you don't get as much power at the top end, but there is still some there for fifth and sixth. I would contact APR. I'm glad I got it. Feels like a different car.

However since I have 30 days to get my money back, I am thinking about trying the GIAC chip in the next few weeks to see which one I like better. If I think it's similar it may end up saving me $110. I'm not exaclty sure how I would go about doing that though.

FTR...Here are the numbers from the GIAC chip. This is HP to the wheels, not the crank. (Its b/c of this I may go with GIAC)

The after dyno is right with revo claims or 255hp and 290tq - drivetrain loss. The before dyno is basically what the stock fw hp would be, 200hp and 207tq.

You gotta be freakin kidding me...........? After all those threads going back and fourth about which chip to get, and making the informed decision to get APR,you are STILLnot sure? Damn.

My B7, the stock boost was 14psi, after the chip(APR91), it jumped to 18psi and holds it there
