e-code questions need help please!!
dose anybody that have ecodes get them from a company online? i believe the brand is Valeo, but some parts also say Depo, so im not exactly sure who there from but thats not my question. my question is when u got the lights did they come with a small 'g' shaped clip? if they did where does it go casue i really think i need it to install the headlights properly but i have no idea where this clip goes. as of right now i can put the lights in and they work, their just aimed at about 6 ft. in front of my car and dont shine infront of me at all. i tried adjusting using the screws on top that are for fine adujustments but they didnt move the lights at all. i have a feeling this clip holds the top of the light fixture so they aim out front, not at the floor, but i cant find where it goes. anyone that has had experience w/ these lights know what that clip is for??? please help me i cant drive my car at night cause of this.
*also i tried just tilting the actual fixture up and there is no way it fits even close to right with them aimed up that way so i know its something inside the light.

need a better explanation of the clip and a picture would really help.
As for the adjusting screws, they are a pain and if you only turned then 5-6 revolutions, you won't see a difference.

i dont have a camera sorry. but the clip is literally in the shape of a lower-case g. i guess ill try again with the adjuster, but i feel like i turned it about 10 times and nothing happened. anyone else get these lights before????
well after looking at the light for about 20 mins i finally realized that its not the clip that needed to be put in, there is a screw near the grill side of the light in the bottom corner, the screw is hard to realize cause it has no head on it, its just a threaded bolt with a slit in the top. anyway i just turned that and it rotated the entire housing upwards and now they aim in front of me, not at the ground. so if anyone orders e-codes online and is wondering why they face the ground just do what i did and you should be fine.
