i found this turbo on ebay they say it is a direct bolt on for the a4 and has a bogger compressor than the k04 has anyone ever seen or heard of this turbo................. just do a k04 search on ebay

 

i think for one of the k04 file names from giac its name is e05 meaning it is the basic big k04 software file from giac. u can use any file on any k04 that will bolt up 2 ur a4 but with some files ie j31 p16 you need certain mods to support it to run proper. granted you will not see the potential hp out of the choosen k04 when running the e05 software though bc it is a basic software. now i might be wrong on the file name but im pretty sure thats its name.

 

by the way i dont think thats a k04 after reading it. its just saying it has a larger exhaust wheel than a k04 and thats its so called advantage. here check this out....http://audizine.com/forum/showthread...threadid=36567

there is a dyno in there that shows a j31 file pushin like 270 with a k04-15 and 350 tq

 

no the E05 was another form of the K04 but not a relible one I have heard this one not putting out the #'s it is rated at

 

i heard its not a stable and reliable turbo and REVO makes the E05 and for some reason the E05 kit is cheaoer than the REVO k04 kit
