Default Easy Headlight Bulb Question

After a drive tonight I got home and noticed one of my headlights is out. Now I was told to replace headlights in pairs, so I was thinking of upgrading bulbs. I have searched the forums with no luck on the bulb question. I have a 1999 A4 1.8t. I wanted to get bulbs with a slight blueish tint but still be able to see in fog and rain. Please direct me to the bulbs that would work, I seem to think that I need the H7 bulbs. I am not willing to upgrade to HID, so please dont suggest it. I just want something a little bluer than stock that still functions as a bright light. I was looking into vision bulbs but I am unsure of which ones I need. Please respond asap so I can get back to driving at night. Thanks in advance.

The link posted is for non-hid bulbs in a blue tint. You would need h7's.
Soory I don't know why it is pulling up the home page, you are looking for the xeno match.

Actually after reading the xeno match page I see they don't have any blueish tint to them.

Yea I just read that too. But as long as its bright and I can drive in the rain and fog it will be cool. Thanks for your help. Any other suggestions of other brands?

i dont see any reason to replace the halogen bulbs in pairs.... that geneally applies to HID as the colors sometimes are not exact. i would just put in silverstars. when i was a teenager, I put those bulbs in my car. while they looked "cool" or whatever, they had no light output and burnt out fast.....

I have been running the Silverstars for about a month now. They are a definate upgrade from a standard H7 bulb. Not quite as white as my HID's, but they are notyellow like standard halogens. For $40, they are worth it. The beam width and distanceis incredible with the ST's. You can actually see the shoulder of the road and far ahead. And if you want to watch for owls in the trees you can do that too
