i ordered a snub from greedspeed ... for my 98.5 2.8 30v and i am very suprised by the size of this snub mount ... i've never seen on in person before ... just thought it would be larger then what it is .... it is like 3 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep... does that seem right ?

the key is to soften it up in the microwave for a few seconds right before putting it on. this will save you at least 30 minutes of struggling.

even though i have auto shoud i put it in?.. cuz im getting my timing belt job done soon

 

dude, it takes a total of an hour, tops, to put it in. I have heard that the auto has probs with this...may not be true, if you do a search, there have been many threads like this.

 

you'll probably have to shave it down a little if you have an auto

 

some posts said if i get the greedspeed one i should shave it.. so should i just put it in the way it is?

 

if it were me, i'd try it first without shaving it. the less you shave, the stiffer it will be. if it does vibrate, take off a small amount and try again. if you take off too much you'll end up with sloppier shifts than before
