Ok guys, I am really considering buying the G2. I have been reading as much as humanly possible about these systems. I am nervous about the whining noise, but Eaton claims it is not that bad. It also claims that you only lose 1 MPG in the city and none on the highway. Also, are the claims of only increasing the torque from the standard 207 lbs/ft to 260? The HP gain is 190 to 295. Well I am glad I will have tons of HP, but honestly, I really want torque. I mean, thats the reason I have little attraction to Benz, they are torque junkies. In this country, flying off the line is more important than driving 145 MPH. So if anyone has any information, that would be great. If anyone here owns one, give me some advice. I am seeking all facts and opinions from everyone, ecspecially if I am going to drop $4K on this thing.

 

I don't have one. I have in fact ridden in one!!! Well worth it I would do it ASAP! They have plenty of TQ to get off the line then HP takes over. It becomes a NEW CAR and the wine is perfect you'll love it. Feels like idle up power, very smooth, great sound!!

 

I took my first ride in a Mini today, and it had the S/C and the whine was faint, not overwheling at all. Do you know the reliability of the S/C's? I am assuming this E62 is close to what Jag or Benz uses?

Dudes, the eaton rocks, I'm in the midle of designing one right now. soon the kit will be out, and you will be able to enjoy even more power, couse I'm crazy and I'm gona go like 'G5' by PES market while PES will vory from the wine, I will vory about my tires.

and the claim about the MPG is so unrealistic, you will get over 50% increase, the milage theoreticaly would go by 50%. You give the engine more air, with air the fuel comes which is same proportion to any air, so 14.5:1 = all the time. But in practice I would think the loss would be like 20-35% on MPG.

PES G2 gets you 300HP, mine would give you on race fuel 350HP, on pump the same 300HP too bad jusr read through and skip grammar.

nope, actually thinking about it, making it simple, affordable, and powerfull. I'm one of these people who actually cares about coustomers. I'm trieng to think about myself too, if its not to complex I will be able to produce them fast and ship them too.
so I will maybe post the designe. I just might let people see.
For 5000 bucks for G2 it is not worth it. getting what, $50 for a HP. that sucks its easier to trade your car for better.

Does anyone know the 1/4 times you pull w/ a supercharger? I heard it makes it a little faster than the s4 but just curious.
