im runing in to the same problems too. Like i want a cat bak and thats a thousant, super charger 5 grand, body kit another 2 grand, rims another 2 grand. but the ebay intake only 65 dollars. haha so why not

 

Yeah man. I hate my rims. Thats my next investment. But I really wish I would have done my research on the 1.8t vs. 2.8 before I bought the 2.8. I thought I was hott **** with my 2.8. hahaha wrong.... But anyways.. I'm determined to make my next car an B5 twin turbo S4, still in the future tho...

really? did u remove the resignator when you put in the exaust? and also are you parting out the intake?

 

The resonator is gone in my exhaust setup in favro of a summit turbo mid muffler and a vibrant axle back. The K&N intake (it's a K&N 57i intake kit) is for sale and you get:
The cone filter
The MAF adapter
angle bracket
and the intake tube

 

so how much are you looking for, for the intake. And also will it fit the 98 2.8

 

I'd like $70 for the intake - that price is shipped. It will fit a 98 2.8 too... PM me you'll only need to get a breather filter ($10) at your local parts place.

 

I have the same intake, I love the sound! I just hit 400 miles to the tank cruising at 75-85 the whole way. I noticed the engine has a little better response also.

I only get around 17 city and 21 highway. If I'm pushing it, which is normal, its even worse. Then again I do have 130k and TIP....

Hey woode your car is a 2.8 right? How was that summit mid muffler? I'm still debating removing the stock one when I put on the remus.

 

I assume youve changed your 02 sensors by now then, right?
