Ebay isnt always Egay
Just finished driving my car after a short shifter install. Ordered the kit off ebay 23.00 plus 10 dollars shipping. Its a b and m knock off but its just the same. Only problem was taking out the old shifter because its so cramped on a b5. Audi uses some crazy amount of locktight on the linkage screws and they needed some muscle to take off. The after product is night and day difference over stock, no slop in the shifting, but it does eleiminate push down reverse, for 30 bucks it was a deal. No need to spend 200 plus on a b+m at least in my opinion. Just excited and next weekend is the timing belt!!!!
you didn't buy your timing belt kit off of ebay did you?

Good - some things you can trust others you can't. I love ebay myself - but I also know a good deal and a bad product are really eazy to find but if you keep your eyes open.....
Hell I even got my car off of ebay
Hell I even got my car off of ebay
is it hard to get into reverse now?
yea agree in some way, if you are buying it off of a person thats selling few parts or thats the only thing yea you get a good deal, but if its one of those ppl who sell millions of other crap, they always try to scr=w you, their product never has quality and no where as it is listed, so becareful... i learned my lessons many many times, so i dont buy anything from ebay powersellers or geeks.
