So, I was reading that the ebay short shifter is one of the few parts you can buy off ebay but which one should i get, is there any differnce between them, does anyone have good experence with a particular seller? Thanks

i bought mine on ebay, but never got to install it do to me striping the bolts. idiot! but it seemed to be in good condition. i have mine sitting at the house if your interested in buying it. i believe it compare's to the b&m ss. someone correct me if im wrong

Now how many of you guys actually installed the short shifter yourself?

 

i installed mine myself, easy as hell

and no.. you dont use half the crap that comes with the kit,
all you need the the linkage connector (blue thing)
the spring
and the small circlip

fyi on the small circlip.. since it didnt come with directions.. i didnt put that in initally and there was alot of slop, then i saw it, and pulled the shifter up and put in the clip, feels great now

 

i have two of them lol, one in the car and one just chillin in my garage.

 

I did, took me about 1.5 hours to do it because of I did not have some of the tool (hex socket).

Buy one before you start and you can finish everthing in 40mins.

I followed the directions on audidiy.com . Mine was a lot easier than the directions I think its because of I have 98.5 and the write up is according to 99.5 or up.
