Default ecs timing belt kit

well Im definately ordering the kit from ecs but my question is...

has anyone gotten the ultimate kit with the 75% lightweight crank pully to install??

seems like a great way to add some hp while in the area doing the timing belt..

whatcha think??

I haven't, but while you are in there you might want to change the front cam seals etc, and if you are considering a snub mount, now is the time to do it.

It removes the harmonic balancer... No bueno. With something as essential as the crank pulley, just leave it stock.

I was considering the same thing and I checked with these Forums, Audizine, and Audiworld, and there was a majority of "No's" as opposed to "Yes's". I would say don't get it. You won't recognize a gain from this part alone, and there are far better ways to take that money and put it towards a mod that will produce a reliable gain.

yea I wouldn’t do it I did some research on them a while back and found that most say its a bad idea and can mess with your motors balance and screw stuff up
