Default Educate me on a Spark Plug question.....please.

I found some Iridium IX Spark Plugs for sale on a price mistake @ $1.99 each.
They normally go for $10+ each and I'm just curious if this is worth me grabbing some for when I replace the plugs.

I'm APR chipped with a test pipe, run 100 octane full-time, and drive the car like I stole it almost every time I take it out of the garage. (06' A4 2.0T, Quattro w/TIP)

I don't know jack squat about spark plugs, so I'm hoping that the Audi elders come out from the shadows and drop some knowledge on the subject for me and anyone else reading that may not know.

In the event that the Iridium IX's aren't a good choice - I'm all ears for a recommendation.

Thanks. [sm=smiley20.gif]

their just a bit better than stock and iridium is apparently better at providing spark over platnum so go for it, might as well.

Copper is best for forced induction. NGK BKR6Eor BKR7E gapped to .028
Search here and on other forums about the copper/plat/irridium debate. Theres lots of info. They should all work, and be fine. But copper is best when dealing with theextreme temps that come with a forced induction engine.

So.....in other words......just stick with my OEM stockers and make sure they're properly gapped......right?

Even running APR 100 programming with 100 octane and a test pipe full time?

Sounds good to me.
One less thing on the checklist.
