Haven't had my audi a4 2000 1.8t for too long-and it was purchased without an owner's manual. Just recently there has been a check engine sign that looks like a volcano with two streams coming out from the mound. I would assume this would be oil-but i am not due for a change for 1500 miles so for some reason i am doubting that.

Sorry for my stupidity-a quick 30 seconds to answer would be extremely helpful.

funny when i first got my car i was driving on the freeway and i used the washers and then like a minute later that warning come on and freaked the hell out me and i exited the freewayas fast as i can and went to a gas station off the exit and busted out the manual, i was like dumb *** rite after i saw what the warning was[:@]

I always though it meant that you are 100 miles from the nearest restroom and if your bladder is full you have to **** in a bottle.

when i run a check through my system, all my symbols come on, does this mean my car is really fucked up, but im starting to think theres a prob in the electric. It always says my headlights are nit working right, but i went to the dealer and asked if they checked out and he said yeah?

 

The check doesn't check the system, rather it checks if the warning lights work. Thus they will all light up. Your car self checks continuously, and if a problem crops up when the car is running a warning light will illuminate.
