do i need a specfic kind or will any auto parts store have a generic kind i can use?

there are many types but I use the red/yellow type for Audi and mix it 50/50, you can use any type but leave the blue stuff alone its weak

I always use Audi G12 coolant as recommended by dealer. $20 a gallon though. [>:]

I've heard that you can use other types of coolant, but just don't mix if you can avoid it. Turns into gelatin basically.

always best to do a flush with new coolant but if topping up then go to the dealer brand, only problem with that is you don't know what the last person used??, renew is best if you don't know
