when I turn on my car where the trip ometer is it is saying something like INSP and I hav enever seen it before????? Help me out....

 

Also when I first start I get some kind of loud purring noise coming from under my feet area it seems...Any body have a clue?????

 

it's just a reminder to tell you that you need a service. it turns on every 10k miles. no idea how to turn it off though. the purring could be the heat. i get a kind of purring/ frog sound when i turn left. i have no idea what is up but it doesn' really bother me

 

The purr noise is when i start my engine for the first time in the day,its something that spins I think but I dont know,I was waiting to see what u would say hiword....U always come thru on any topic....

 

To reset the OIL and INSP service reminders:

1.) Hold down the trip meter reset button (the shaft on the right of the instrument cluster)
2.) Turn the key to 'on'
3.) Release the button you're holding down
4.) pull the button on the left until the indicator clears (the shaft on the left of the instrument cluster / dash lights dimmer)
