ENGINE MISFIRES IN MY 97 A4 1.8
hey every1,
my engine idles at like 300 rpm and i can hear it misfire
i was told that it either my coil packs or the ICM located on my intake box
well i checked my coil pacs n they were fine
i also got a new ICM but my car still misfires
Dont I have to reset the ECU for it to accept the new ICM???????

plugs n wires should b fine bc car had a tune up less then 5 K ago

thanks for the advice...
i kno its not bad gas bc ive put new fresh gas since this happend.
U mite b rite bout the tune up tho so im goin to have to check that
Although the same 2 cylinders are always misfiring and if it was a fual injector then wouldnt it show up if i scanned the car???
When i scan it i get the 3 same error
1 misfire
2 misfire
3 throtle position sensor
i kno its not bad gas bc ive put new fresh gas since this happend.
