Yes it has heat. and the thermostat is brand new
To pull that sensor you just pull the clip and pull it out right?

 

yep that's how to remove it but its harder to replace as you will find out,
if you have good heat in the cabin and the cooling fan cuts in and all coolant pipes are hot then it could be down to excess coolant mix or wrong coolant ( G12 or G12+ ) the G12+ is the latest and for life as they say about everything but you make your mind up over that lol

 

Hey, hope this revives the thread. I have a 2011 Audi Q7 with the same issue mentioned above but mine does not have heat. Does that change the solution? Do you think it’s the heater core? Thanks in advance.
