hi I have a 2002 1.8 turbo the problem is its started to miss fire when I drove it on tick over it sounds fine could this be the head gasket ?
the water dosnt smell like its mixed will petrol witch I was told its a sign of the head gasket and the oil is clean so this could be expensive plese help or ill have to get a big hammer and smash it up

 

I am having issues locating and then possibly removing my egr valve, its been giving me problems when first driving to work or coming home. It acts like im on the brakes then clears up and its fine for a day or two, need some help on this one i heard its an expensive part as well. Thanks.
