It would all be custom... The wiring would be a nightmare on these cars, the mounts would be expensive as Hell to have custom made, I doubt anything would work together, and I HIGHLY doubt it would even fit. Take a look in your engine bay, do you think a 4.2liter V8 would fit without massive modification?

I say shoot a bit lower than a swap of that magnitude. Especially if your car is your daily driver.

Exactly. A k04 swap would give waaayy more hp than a 4.2. Not to mention the extra weight of the 4.2. Very bad idea. Just a chip would produce as much power as the 4.2.

I know..the tranny can't handle that much power..what about switching the tip to a manual-clutch drive (6-speed of course!)?
