hey guys. i know a guy that is selling 2001 s4 engine with a bent valve for 1600. was wondering will that fit in my 98 a4 1.8t. also, will i have to change the transmission(im guess yes on this one). and im guessing the ecu will have to be changed. was also wondering will i have to change axels and stuff like that. will you guys list anything that i missed.

 

it will fit but its not worth it. need, tranny, ecu, exhaust, and someother stuff

wow I think its like the 1 billionth time someone posted the proposed engine swap heres some advice just go buy a s4 2001 models are not that expensive and worth it but transplanting a new engine and drivetrain into your a4 is a waste of moolah
