I recently changed out a dead 1999 A4 engine with a 2001 A4 engine. We had to swap the intake over onto the new motor because it had a different throttle system and wiring harness. Here is the link to the video of the car trying to start.


Any help or suggestions you can offer is appreciated. I'm going to buy a VAG code scanner to see if that will help diagnose the issue.

 

I'd imagine that the ECU needs to be swapped too if you are going from a non-drive by wire engine to a drive by wire engine. There's probably some sensors are different too.

You need an AHA motor to go in your car not an ATQ.
